Life continued as normal while I waited for a reply from Sister Katherine. Although I started paying much more attention to what the children did with their time.
I think Brookite wants to become supreme ruler of all that she surveys:
Bix’s love of animals was helping her get along with Diamond:
She even enjoys the dirty jobs that no one else wants to do, so that’s fine with me!
Bavinite wanted to learn how to fish, so I let her have one of my old rods and gave her a few pointers, she took to it like a fish to water.
Barite was progressing with his experimentation with potions, well, I say progressing:
I think I’m going to have to keep a closer eye on him, I would be devastated if he accidentally caught himself on fire and burnt to death.
I think that the older twins had an inkling that something was amiss, they both asked Dad if they could help with the garden.
Needless to say he was thrilled, his back was getting stiff as he got older and although he would never admit it, I know he was struggling to provide enough food for us all.
So, life went on and I went to look at a piece of land just down the hill from where we were living.
It’s just an empty lot.
But I wonder….
Although I had no time to comment on TSS I’ve read all your chapters and still enjoy your legacy very much. I wonder what the empty lot is about. Hope to meet you soon on TSS.
